Baptismal Coordinator
Adults greet and assist the priest with the celebration of baptisms on the first and third Sunday of the month. Training provided.
Commitment: Quarterly.

Bible Study
Groups meet on various days and times to study Scripture. Contact Sharon Hall at the church office for updated schedule or to sign up to participate or lead a group.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) Leaders
Volunteers read Sunday Scripture to children ages 5-9 and help them understand the Gospel.
Commitment: One hour prep time plus 20 minutes on Sunday at the 10:30 Mass, once a month.

Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP)
CRHP is an annual retreat for women or men in the parish. Groups continue to meet weekly after completion of the retreat weekend.
Commitment: One weekend in the spring.

Elizabeth Ministry
This program offers support to women and their families during the joys, challenges, and sorrows of childbearing years.
Commitment: Monthly meetings on Tuesday evenings.

Men of Faith
This men’s group meets every Saturday at 7:00 am at the church. Discussion topics are taken from various sources. Facilitators rotate within the group.
Commitment: 90 minutes a week.

MOMS-Ministry of Mothers Sharing
These mothers are dedicated to bringing faith and friendship to the women of STM in a wide variety of activities and programs.
Commitment: Variable.

Religious Education Catechists or Aides
Volunteers share their faith with parish youth by teaching Grade Pre-K-10 classes.
Commitment: One hour a week, September through May plus 1-2 hours prep time. Protecting God’s Children Workshop required.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Catechists or Sponsors
Volunteers welcome and prepare adults interested in becoming Catholic.
Commitment: Meets Wednesday, 7:30-9:00 pm, September through May.

Rosary for the Unborn
Meets the first and third Wednesday from 7:30-8:00 PM in the chapel. All are invited.
Commitment: Twice a month, September-May.

SPRED-Special Religious Education Development
This ministry provides special religious education for children and adults with developmental disabilities or learning problems. Volunteers must be 21 years or older. Training is required and provided. Protecting God’s Children workshop required.
Commitment: Weekly, November-June.

Vacation Bible School Leader
Volunteers (adult and high school) serve as leaders or assistants working with children age 4 to sixth grade.
Commitment: Approximately 2 hours preparation time prior to VBS Week, plus class time from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm for one week in June.
Special Note: Training and materials provided. Protecting God’s Workshop required.

Welcoming Newcomers
Volunteers welcome new members and their families at monthly gatherings on Tuesday evening. Duties include making phone calls, baking and assisting at the welcoming meeting. A desire to make others feel welcome is the only requirement.
Commitment: Once a month.

Women’s Prayer Group
Women gather every Wednesday from 9:15-10:30 am to pray the rosary and reflect on Scripture.
Commitment: Once a week.

Adult volunteers assist the Director of Youth Ministry with programs and events. Protecting God’s Children Workshop required.
