Altar Servers
Youth ages fifth grade and older assist the priest at weekend Masses and other sacraments. Training provided.
Commitment: Depends on time of year and available servers. Usually 1-2 times a month.

Choir Member
Singers welcome for adult, youth, guitar and Filipino choirs.
Commitment: Two hours weekly, September-May.

Eucharistic Adoration
Parishioners are encouraged to spend time in the presence of the Lord on the first Wednesday of every month - sitting in silent prayer, reading the Bible, or simply keeping Him company.
Commitment: 30-60 minutes monthly.

Eucharistic Ministers
Confirmed adults distribute Communion at Mass. Training provided.
Commitment: Serve one to three times per month, at the Mass of your choice.

Greeter
Individuals or families welcome parishioners arriving for celebration of the liturgy.
Commitment: 15 minutes before Mass, once a month, at the Mass of your choice.

Lector
Confirmed adults proclaim the message of God’s Word in the Scripture at weekend Mass of your choice. Training provided.
Commitment: As needed, depending on Mass time.

Liturgy Coordinator
Volunteers prepare for Mass, oversee volunteers, and supervise clean up.
Special note: Must be organized and have clear focus and knowledge of liturgical celebration.
Commitment: 2 hours every other week.

Liturgical Decorating
Volunteers construct a prayerful environment for the seasons and feasts of the Church year.
Commitment: Variable.
Special Note: Knowledge of design and/or horticulture is helpful, but not necessary.

Liturgical Planning Committee
Parishioners plan, prepare and evaluate parish Masses and celebrations for each season of the Church year.
Commitment: Meets for 2 hours 5 times per year.

Ministry of Hope for Funerals
Individuals represent the parish, providing hospitality and assistance to family members during funeral visitation and liturgy.
Commitment: Two hours per month. Must be available week day mornings.

Music Ministers
Volunteers lead the congregation and accompany the singers at Mass. Ability to read music and some experience necessary.
Commitment: Weekly to monthly for weekend Masses, plus rehearsal.

Usher
Volunteers ensure the comfort and safety of the assembly during Mass and assist in the orderly flow of the Liturgy. Duties include seating the people and taking up the collection.
Commitment: Weekend and Holy Day Masses on alternate months at Mass of your choice.

Washing/Ironing Altar Linens
Volunteers wash and iron sacred linens used at Mass.
Commitment: 90 minutes, every other month.

Volunteers needed to wash and polish vessels used at Mass.
Commitment: 20 minutes, once a month.

Wedding Coordinators
Organized individual assists priest by conducting the rehearsal and directing the
wedding party to ensure a sacred celebration for the sacrament of marriage.
Commitment: Approximately once a month.
Special Note: Must be available Friday evening and Saturday afternoon of the same weekend.
