Rev. Andrew Plesa

Father Andrew Plesa grew up in DeKalb, Illinois.  He graduated from Northwestern University and entered the seminary, studying Philosophy at St. John's Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota and Theology at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland.

Father Plesa was ordained in 1956 and served in various parishes in the Rockford Diocese as a parochial vicar.  His first pastorate was at Sacred Heart Parish in Aurora, followed by service at Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Cary and St. Peter Parish in Spring Grove, Illinois.  Upon his retirement, he took up residence at St. Thomas More Parish where he continues to serve.
